Food Defense & Food Fraud Awareness & its Risk Assessment

As the global environment changes rapidly, the production of safe food is a pre-requisite for the final consumers. What comes along with the potential food safety issues that we are now facing, is the growing food fraud and food defense issues due to economic gain and intentional actions from individuals. GFSI mandates all recognised standards to have a food defense and food fraud plan in place and this course develops the practical knowledge on how to implement the steps for a comprehensive food defense and food fraud plan.
Upon completion of the training, participants will:
- Describe the identification and application of food defense & food fraud
- Possess the knowledge on the application of risk assessment for food defense and food fraud

Who Should Attend
This course is designed and aimed for food safety team members who are involved food defense and food fraud prevention in their organization or business.
Prerequisites
It is recommended for participants to complete the ISO 22000: 2018 Principles & its Pre-Requisite Programme and/or Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) Version 5 and/or BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 8.
Exam and Certification
- Participants will need to complete a four-hour live training and assessment at the end of the course.
- Participants will be required to achieve at least 80% of total marks in the assessment.
- An electronic Certificate of Completion will be awarded upon successful completion of the online assessment.
